On the outward route from Gateway of India to Gharapuri Island, ferries operate daily from early morning until late afternoon, providing a convenient way to access the island. Consider taking an early ferry from Gateway of India before the sun shines bright to have reduced impact of temperature and humidity.

As a tourist attraction for kids and elders alike, there is a toy train that carries passengers from the ferry station to the foot of the steps. This ride is less than 1km long and tickets must be purchased before boarding the train at the counter.
